Personal data protection

At the company ILIRIKA d.d. Ljubljana (hereinafter: ILIRIKA or the company or we) we are aware of the importance of personal data protection, which is why we handle your data in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. In accordance with the new regulation introduced by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) and the applicable law governing personal data protection in the Republic of Slovenia, ILIRIKA as the personal data controller must enable individuals whose personal data it processes to be acquainted with all the relevant data that enables them to be informed.

As a controller of personal data, and with the aim of implementing the principle of fair and transparent processing, the company has prepared the "Rules on Personal Data Processing of the company ILIRIKA d.d." (available at the very bottom), which allow individuals to obtain all relevant information relating to their personal data in one place.

In the company, we collect individuals' personal data from various sources. In most cases, you, our clients, provide them directly to us when you decide on a specific financial product or service (for example, when investing in shares, ETFs, or cryptocurrencies). We also collect them indirectly by monitoring the use of financial products and services. We also generate certain data ourselves, since we process data for the purpose of reporting, analyses, and similar. In addition, we may also use other information about individuals available to us or provided from public sources (public registers, databases, internet applications, social networks, or other public information sources). All collected data and information are processed by the company's employees for the purpose of performing their work.

The company will carefully store and protect personal data and, through a series of measures, prevent unauthorised disclosure of data to unauthorised persons. In the company, we undertake not to forward, lend, or sell personal data to third parties without prior notice and obtaining consent, without appropriate adequate safeguards, and that we will process the said personal data exclusively within the framework of lawful legal bases and selected purposes.
